Genius Triplets: Ex Wife Hidden Identity

Chapter 128

Ch. 128 / 181 Dec 17, 2025

Christian secretly gave Christopher a thumbs up.

In fact, they had planned to matchmake their mommy and daddy a few days ago. Whenever they saw their parents arguing, they would initiate their plan.

Since Daddy spent less time with them and didn't understand their daily habits like Mommy did, they would first pester Daddy and make trouble for him.

Mommy was soft-hearted, so they would act pitifully in front of her, and then find a way to let Daddy see Mommy's good qualities.

They didn't expect their first cooperation to be so successful. It was probably the tacit understanding between the three siblings.

The more Christian thought about it, the prouder he felt. He silently decided to share this with his good friend, Grandma Evelyn, when they got back home.

Fifteen minutes passed.

The waiter began serving the dishes. When Alessia and the others had almost finished eating, melodious piano music filled the restaurant.

After playing a piece, the restaurant manager stepped forward to speak.

"Good evening, everyone. It's time for us to give out gifts again. As our regular customers know, our restaurant's owner and his wife fell in love here. In commemoration, every 9th of the month, we give a special gift to the couple sitting at Table 9."

"Today, we're lucky to have a young couple and their adorable three children at Table 9. Now, please allow my staff to present the gifts."

After the manager's speech, all eyes in the restaurant turned to Alessia and her family. A female waitress approached Alessia with a large bouquet of crimson roses and handed her a hotel consumption card for couples.

As the waitress handed over the card, she accidentally glanced at Dominic, causing her face to blush instantly. She carefully moved her gaze between Alessia and Dominic and shyly said, "Wishing you both a wonderful evening."

"Sister, what activity is a wonderful evening? Why can only Mommy and Daddy participate? Can't my brother and I join too?" Christian, curious, asked from the side.

Children are the most innocent beings, and a four-year-old child is especially untainted.

Christian's questions were purely out of curiosity.

However, the waitress's face grew even redder. She bit her lip and explained with a forced smile, "Little one, this activity is special, and children can't participate."

"Is that so?" Christian blinked innocently, then looked at Alessia and Dominic very sincerely, "Then , you must participate well, Mom, Dad.

Alessia resisted the urge to facepalm, didn't look in Dominic's direction, and pretended to indifferently set the flowers and card aside.

She admitted that when her youngest son mentioned participating in the activity with Dominic, ripples stirred in her calm heart.

People are inclined to indulgence and sensual pleasure. Dominic is domineering, but his face isn't bad. It wouldn't be wrong to have some thoughts about that face.

Alessia cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth.

When she raised her head, she noticed a gaze fixed on her lips.

Even though their eyes met, Dominic showed no intention of looking away.

Alessia raised an eyebrow.

Dominic then pointed at his own lips.

Alessia paused, just as she was about to react, the next moment, Dominic leaned down, and his slender index finger unexpectedly touched her lips, gently wiping them, sending a tingling sensation through her.

Alessia was about to pull away when she noticed Dominic had already withdrawn.

There was a piece of green onion on his finger- it was from her lips!

A hint of embarrassment appeared on Alessia's face. She regretted it; she wished she hadn't sat down in the first place.

Just as she was about to brush it off and pretend nothing happened...

Dominic, with a look of disdain, wiped off the green onion and said, "I have OCD."

Alessia was in trouble now. She felt the gaze of the three children at the table fixed on her.

Alessia blinked, picked up her water glass, and took a big gulp.

Since she couldn't stand it any longer, Alessia was the first to get up after they finished eating.

"Mom." She had barely taken two steps when Christopher called out from behind her.

"Is everything okay?" Alessia turned around and saw her clever and sensible little daughter struggling to pick up the bouquet of flowers and the hotel consumption card that she had intentionally left behind.

The girl, with her face barely visible behind the large bouquet, handed them to Alessia with a childish voice, "Mommy, take these. It's the restaurant owner's goodwill. We can't throw them away."

Thank you very much!

Alessia's eye twitched.

"Aren't you taking them, Mommy?" Seeing Alessia not taking them, Christian extended the flowers towards her again.

Very well, she's hooked on this, isn't she?

Alessia glanced at Dominic nearby, who was quietly watching, his lips slightly curved, and narrowed her eyes.

Enjoying the show, huh?

Alessia bent down, patted Christian's little head, and said, "Mommy thinks Daddy needs the flowers more. Give them to Daddy."

Christian looked at Dominic, blinked his clear eyes, then turned around to find that Alessia had already left the restaurant.

With no other choice, Christian could only turn back to Dominic and offered him the flowers again, "Daddy?"

Dominic looked at the fiery red flowers, sighed helplessly, and even he probably didn't realize it, but at this moment, his face was filled with tenderness.

With his strong and slender hand, he took the flowers and the hotel consumption card and handed them to the nearby waiter.

The waiter looked at the expensive consumption card in his hand, then at Alessia and the others leaving, scratching his head in confusion. He couldn't understand why someone would refuse such a good offer.

At that moment, the manager came over and patted him on the shoulder. "Stop thinking about it. It's obvious that couple is having a quarrel. You're lucky, kid."

Meanwhile, as Alessia was about to get into her car, she saw a woman collapse in front of her.

If the woman hadn't looked pale and weak, Alessia would have thought she was trying to scam her.

Alessia hurried over to check on her.

Soon after, Dominic arrived with the three children.

"Grandma Evelyn." Christian recognized the woman on the ground at a glance, and so did Dominic.

The woman was none other than Evelyn Harrington, whom Christian had escorted back to her hotel after the bonfire party on the mountain.

After a brief examination, Alessia found that Evelyn had fainted due to mental and physical exhaustion.

"Get some water!" Alessia didn't look up and instructed Dominic.

Dominic immediately walked away and returned shortly with a bottle of mineral water. By then, a crowd had gathered, including some onlookers from the restaurant.

Among them was the manager of the western restaurant, who immediately recognized Evelyn's identity.

"Madam? What happened to Madam?" The manager asked Alessia nervously.

Alessia said, "She just fainted. We'll have to wait for her to wake up to find out what happened, or when the ambulance arrives, they can take her to the hospital for a thorough check-up."

As she spoke, Evelyn slowly regained consciousness after Alessia fed her some water, but she still looked unwell.

Since the manager of the western restaurant was present, Alessia decided to leave once Evelyn woke up.

However, Christian insisted on waiting until the ambulance arrived before leaving.

"Mom, Grandma Evelyn is all alone here, and it's so pitiful. Let's wait a little longer," Christian pleaded.

Dominic also spoke up, "Let's listen to Christian."

Alessia looked at Dominic's face and noticed his strange gaze when he looked at Evelyn. She furrowed her brows silently. Although it was getting late, she wasn't afraid to delay a bit longer and stayed behind.

Fifteen minutes later, the ambulance arrived, and Evelyn was taken away. Christian looked crestfallen.

Alessia couldn't bear to see him like this and comforted him by patting his little head. "Silly boy, if you're really worried about this lady, you can call her later. After school tomorrow, if I have time, I can take you to see her again."

"Really?" Christian looked up.

Alessia nodded, "Of course."

"That's great, thank you, Mommy. Mommy, I want to ride in your car back home." Christian quickly cheered up after receiving Alessia's affirmation.

Christopher and Eleanor also got into Alessia's car one after another.

Alessia raised her eyebrows, opened the driver's door, but Dominic stopped her again.

After Dominic had caused trouble earlier, Alessia looked at him with caution this time.

"What do you want now?"

Dominic said, "Are you sure you want to take Christian to see Evelyn tomorrow?"

What does he mean? Alessia was slightly taken aback, and then she thought of Dominic's strange gaze when he looked at Evelyn just now.
