Brent’s POV

The rain was relentless, streaming down the windows and muting the outside world into a blur of shadows and sound. Inside the car, the air was heavy, charged with something raw and undeniable. Betty was beneath me, her breath coming in soft gasps as I kissed her neck, my lips tracing the curve of her skin with deliberate care.

I couldn’t get enough of her—of the way her body responded to me, the way her fingers hesitated before curling into the fabric of my shirt. She was beautiful, mesmerizing in a way that made me forget everything else.

“Lie down,” I murmured, my voice low, rough with need.

Her eyes flicked to mine, her lips slightly parted as she obeyed, leaning back against the damp seat. The glow of the dashboard lights cast soft shadows across her face, making her look like something out of a dream. My hands moved instinctively, sliding down her sides, finding the hem of her blouse and pushing it up to reveal the smooth expanse of her stomach.

“Spread your legs for me, baby,” I whispered, my voice trembling with the weight of my desire.

She closed her eyes and shifted, her movements hesitant but trusting, and it sent a jolt through me—a mix of longing and possession that tightened my chest. I kissed her again, harder this time, pouring everything into the way my lips claimed hers.

My hands explored her body, slipping beneath her shirt to cup her breasts, my thumbs brushing over her hardened nipples. She arched into my touch, her soft moan barely audible over the rain drumming against the car. The sound drove me wild, sending heat coursing through my veins as I leaned down to kiss the curve of her collarbone, then lower, tasting the skin just above her bra.

“Betty,” I murmured against her skin, my voice barely more than a breath. “You’re perfect.”

She didn’t respond, but the way her body shifted beneath mine told me everything I needed to know. I reached for the button of her jeans, my fingers fumbling slightly in my urgency, and she lifted her hips to help me slide them down. The sight of her bare legs, her skin glowing in the dim light, nearly undid me.

I ran my hands up her thighs, savoring the warmth of her skin beneath my palms. My mouth followed, kissing a path along her inner thigh, stopping just shy of where I knew she wanted me most.

“Brent,” she whispered, her voice soft and breathless.

I looked up at her, my chest heaving as I took in the sight of her—her flushed cheeks, her swollen lips, the way her hair framed her face like a halo. I couldn’t hold back any longer.

I leaned up, capturing her lips again as my hand slid between her legs, feeling the heat of her through the thin fabric of her underwear. She gasped against my mouth, her hips bucking slightly as I pressed my fingers against her, slow and deliberate.

“You’re so beautiful,” I whispered, my voice rough as I slid her underwear down and kissed her again.

Her hands gripped my shoulders, her nails digging into my skin as I moved over her, guiding myself into her with a slow, deliberate thrust. The sound of her sharp inhale, the way her body tensed beneath mine—it was everything.

We moved together, the car rocking slightly with every movement, the storm outside drowning out everything but the sound of our breaths, our moans, the soft rustle of clothes and skin against skin. I buried my face in the crook of her neck, her scent, her warmth, consuming me as I lost myself in her completely.

“Betty,” I groaned, my voice breaking as the tension built inside me, the world narrowing to nothing but her.

She wrapped her legs around me, pulling me closer, her hands tangled in my hair as she whispered my name. It was too much and not enough all at once, every touch, every sound pushing me closer to the edge.

When we finally shattered together, the release was overwhelming, leaving us both breathless and trembling in each other’s arms. I stayed there for a moment, holding her close, the sound of the rain outside steady and unyielding, grounding me.

But even as I held her, a small flicker of doubt crept in, uninvited and unwelcome. I’d given her everything tonight—my love, my trust, my desperation—but I couldn’t shake the feeling that she wasn’t all there with me.

And for the first time, the thought terrified me.
