Chapter Fifty One

Ch. 51 / 52 May 07, 2026

Epilogue.

One year later.

Jayda Miller considered herself as one of the luckiest people on earth. As each day passes by, She never fails to thank God for blessing her with an amazing husband, beautiful children, wonderful family, amazing friends who turned family and also, her successful career.

Getting married to Sebastian was one of the best things that have ever happened to Jayda. Her love for him increased day by day. They've only been married for a year and Sebastian kept his promise by making each day memorable and making She and their children happy.

Of course, they argued and had little misunderstandings in between but they loved each other so much that it was hard for them to stay mad at one another for so long.

Jayda had a hard time balancing her career with being a wife, a Mom and a godmother but she was determined to make it work and she has been doing well so far.

Being a wife and a mom was something she never really pictured herself in but Jayda Miller wouldn't trade her present blessings for anything in the world.

"Asides the documents you need to send to some of our clients, I think we've done everything on our to-do list for this week." Jayda said to Anna, her Secretary"

"Yes, just like every other week, we've completed this week's task," Anna replied to her Boss.

"Okay then," Jayda rose to her feet behind her desk and started gathering her things.

Anna smiled, her Boss was getting ready to go home. The most she had stayed back at work since she got married was 6:30 Pm but usually, by 5:30, she was always on her way home. And if there was any extra work, Jayda took them home to complete them.

Jay had shown Anna that It was possible to have it all. (a successful career and a wonderful family)

"So, I'll see you on Monday," Jayda smiled. "My babies will be expecting me by now and I still have to make dinner. Between, we have guests coming over tonight."

"It's fine. I'll email the documents and leave as soon as I'm done."

"Okay dear, I'm a call away if you need any clarification on anything."

"Sure, Have a wonderful weekend. My regards to Ariella and Aaron."

"Thanks, I will and you too." Jayda gave Anna a hug before Anna made her way out of Jayda's office with some files.

Jayda was glad her home was not that far from her office. It was just a fifteen minutes drive which was why she rejected Sebastian's offer to get her a driver.

Instead of going straight home, She stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few items for dinner and for the weekend.

Funny enough, Jayda hadn't gotten much of paparazzi's drama. They were only around her when she was with her kids or with Sebastian. They never approached her when she was alone. The highest they've ever done was to take a picture of her at a distance.

But Jayda thought they always stayed away from her when she was alone because no one wanted to mess with a known lawyer. She also had a bodyguard who was always watching out for her at a distance. Sebastian did a lot of pleading before Jayda finally agreed to have someone watch her at a distance.

As soon as Jayda pulled up in the driveway, She was welcomed by Isaac, the Butler.

"Welcome ma'am" He greeted when Jayda came down from the car.

"Hello, Issac." She smiled at the hardworking man who was in his early forties. He was about to assist her in carrying her bag but she stopped him politely.

"Thanks, Issac, don't worry about this. There are groceries in the back seat." Issac nodded and reached for the items. "You can tell Lisa to start prepping the ingredients, I'll join her in the kitchen soon."

"Okay, ma'am," Issac replied, proceeding to the kitchen with the groceries through the back door.

With the birth of Ariella, Sebastian decided to hire a few help: the Butler, cleaners, a chef and of course security officers to guard the house.

Jayda was against it at first. She wanted to learn how to take care of her home herself. But because she had work and her family to take care of, She eventually gave in to Sebastian's idea.

Four tiny arms hugged Jayda's legs tightly when she stepped into the house.

She smiled proudly. This was the most amazing part of her day. The thing she always looked forward to. No matter how stressed she was from work, her children's hugs and kisses took all her worries away.

"Welcome mommy. I missed you." Aaron said. Katie was on a business trip so Aaron was stuck in his second home for almost a week now. The little boy had come to understand that he had two homes. He honestly had no problem with that because he was loved everywhere (whenever he was with Sebastian, Jayda, Ariella and their families and friends or whenever he was with his real mom, Katie and her boyfriend, Richard.)

"Mama, ah miss you," Ariella said in her cute baby voice.

Stella, the childrens' nanny, collected Jayda's bag from her so she could cuddle a little with her kids.

"Thanks, Stella." She smiled as soon as Stella took her bag from her.

"Hello munchkins," Jayda dropped down to her knees and pulled her little miracles in joint hugs. She showered their faces with kisses which made them giggle.

"How was school today?" She asked Aaron.

"She school was fun."

"Did you finish your lunch?" She asked him and he replied with a nod. Then Jayda gave him a hi-five.

"Were you a good girl to Stella?" Jayda asked her one year, six months old Ariella. She and Sebastian decided she would start daycare once she turned two. So while her parents were at work and Aaron at school, Stella babysat her.

"Yes mama," Ella replied.

"Are you sure?" Jayda asked with an eyebrow raised.

Ariella grinned sheepishly before replying with a nod.

"Why are you so cute?" Jayda smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Do you have any homework?" She asked Aaron as she removed a few strands of hair that fell across his face.

"Yes, Mommy. I have two but I've done one."

"That's good. You'll do the other one tomorrow. Tomorrow is Saturday."

"Guess who is coming to visit us tonight?" Jayda asked her babies.

"Eenora?"

"Lenora?"

Ariella and Aaron said respectively. Ella still couldn't pronounce 'Lenora' well.

"Yes, my loves!" Jayda announced and her babies jumped up for joy.

Lenora was Lilian and Roman's eight months old daughter. Ariella and Aaron love her so much and were always protective of her.

They love playing together but tears were always shed whenever Lenora had to leave or in the case where Jayda and her kids were the ones who visited, when they had to leave.

"Your aunt Lilian, Uncle Roman, Uncle Caleb and aunt Michaela will also be here," Jayda announced.

"Wow, we are going to have so much fun." Aaron smiled.

"So more funnnnn," Ariella said in her baby voice while doing a happy dance.

"On that note guys, you have to excuse Mommy. I need to take a shower and then prepare dinner. You two, give me a kiss before I go." She demanded.

Ariella and Aaron kissed Jayda's cheeks at the same time before they ran off to the living room to continue watching TV.

"I know Ariella did something naughty today. What did she do?" Jayda asked as she retrieved her bag from Stella.

"She was good. She only threw a tantrum during lunch. Instead of eating her food, she said she wanted cookies."

"Mr Miller called during that time to check on her so he persuaded her to eat her food," Stella replied.

Jayda smiled, "I'll talk to her to be good."

Stella was still kind of young, she was in her late twenties and was very good with kids. She planned to work with the Millers for three years and still had about a year and a half to go after which she would settle down and have her own family. But she does ask for some days off where she goes to visit her parents in her hometown.

Jayda proceeded to Her and Sebastian's room, She took off her clothes and took a quick shower. She changed into black leggings and top, then made her way to the kitchen to start dinner.

A month after Jayda and Seb's wedding, Jayda and her friends started a tradition which they've kept till date.

Sebastian, Jayda, Lilian, Roman, Caleb, Michela, Gabriel and their children had dinner together every last Friday of the month. And this time, it was Sebastian and Jayda's turn to host their friends.
