To Beauty, Abigail was undeniably a very beautiful lady. Just like her brother she naturally looks stunning.
Her full, long dark hair was the most beautiful part of her, and her body proportions were insane.
"Can I talk with you?" Abigail asked slowly.
Beauty got nervous but knew she had to pull herself together and listen.
"Sure," Beauty replied quickly, curious about what she had to say.
Yes, she was nervous, but at the same time excited. She wasn't sure what Abigail wanted to talk about, but her friendly approach gave Beauty some hope.
Abigail walked toward her, holding a cold glass of chilled wine in a royal, elegant way, and stretched it toward Beauty.
"Here, you need this," she said, smiling softly.
Beauty panicked a little.
"Alcohol?" she asked slowly, quickly thinking of a lie, not wanting to be judged again.
Abigail nodded.
"I... don't drink," Beauty lied, scratching her hair nervously.
Abigail shrugged and finished the drink in one shot. Then she gazed at Beauty.
Beauty wasn't looking, but she could tell Abigail was staring at her. After a few minutes, Abigail asked.
"So... you work at my father's company?"
Her accent was soothing to the ear.
Beauty nodded slowly.
"Yes."
"How long have you two been dating?"
Abigail asked, her look suddenly terrifying.
Beauty avoided eye contact.
"The day he called you, I guess," Beauty said slowly. "Why the question all of a sudden?"
"You guess...? And here I thought it must have been a year or so. Bruno seems pretty much attracted to you. He loves you a lot, believe me, I can tell," Abigail replied with a giggle.
"I love him too," Beauty said almost to herself.
"So tell me, how did you manage to make him fall for you?"
Abigail asked, giving her a sassy look.
The question made Beauty break out in a sweat.
Could this be a trap? What was she supposed to say?
She really didn't know why or what made Bruno fall in love with her.
She only knew she had been in love with him for the last three years—though it had been a one-sided secret crush, she had thought.
Although Bruno told her how he had a crush on her too, his reason for falling in love with her wasn't specific too.
"I really don't understand how," Beauty replied, her cheeks hot and red.
Abigail chuckled loudly.
"Don't mind me! I guess this drink is kind of strong. I'm just surprised my brother can date any woman he wants to. I once linked him with Jennifer Courtney, you know, the richest and most popular Dior model. It was that moment I concluded he was gay."
She laughed at herself, Beauty joined her awkwardly.
"Anyway, I was wrong. He likes women and he chose you. I have just one problem with you," Abigail said, turning to face her.
Her face suddenly turned dark and hard, which made Beauty even more nervous and uncomfortable.
She gulped hard.
"What are you using?" Abigail asked again. Beauty had no idea what she was referring to.
She opened her mouth but ended up stuttering.
"I... I... I... what... what am I using?" she stuttered, confused.
Abigail immediately grabbed her.
Beauty was alerted and panicked at how close she was, her hands on Beauty.
"Don't tell me those boobs and curves are all real. No botox. Look at me. My dad had to put me on a diet since I was thirteen so I could look this way. I want to have those curves too," Abigail stated, a little childishly.
Beauty wondered if Abigail was trying to cheer her up and make her feel better about her body size.
There was no way a lady like Abigail envied her body!
Beauty was terrified as Abigail grabbed her arm, then Aby suddenly let go and laughed.
"Don't mind me again. I just love teasing people. You should relax. You look so tense."
Beauty chuckled awkwardly, just then Bruno opened the door.
Her eyes lit up with excitement upon seeing him.
"Hey bro! I was having a little ladies' chat with your babe. Guess what? She said she loves me more," Abigail snapped.
Beauty's eyes widened in surprise.
"I didn't say it," Beauty mumbled with a nervous chuckle.
Bruno shook his head and pulled his sister away from Beauty.
"You should get going already. She's taken. Try someone else, okay?" he replied.
Abigail reluctantly stood up.
"Well, I still got my eyes on you, Beauty. I'm bi anyway. You can try different things sometime," Abigail said with a wink.
"Shut it, Abigail," Bruno snapped.
He grabbed her by the hand and walked her out of the room.
Abigail turned back at the door.
"Are you afraid I might steal her? I sensed some gay panic in her eyes when she was with me."
"She likes a man. The man is me. She's mine. Now get lost."
Abigail laughed then whispered.
"She's great. I like her."
"Thanks. I know you would, she's a very sweet person and very beautiful".
Bruno whispered back.
Abigail burst out laughing, which confused Bruno.
"You are really in love look at you! Who would belie...."
Bruno slammed the door before she could finish and walked back into the room.
He sighed loudly and sat down beside Beauty.
"Are you okay?" he asked gently.
Beauty nodded slowly.
He fell back on the bed, his hand over his face.
"My family is so difficult and exhausting! I am sorry for this" he groaned with his eyes closed.
Beauty stared at him and smiled.
"Thanks, Bruno."
He opened his eyes and quickly sat up.
"Bruno? Hey, what happened to 'babe...baby...honey...sweetie'?" he replied with a face that amused Beauty.
Beauty was silent trying not to laugh.
"Call me baby, huh?," he whispered, leaning forward to kiss her.
But Beauty slowly moved her head to the other side.
He tried again, and she did the same thing.
He caught her the third time and kissed her deeply.
Beauty melted and responded.
When they pull away, Bruno stood up then took her hand.
"Come with me, we have to go back to the family dining," he told her.
Beauty's face turned pale.
