Kyle
I got home so happy about everything that happened between Bella and me; I took some yoghurt from the fridge, heading to my room; I have some documents to work on before sleeping.
Still working on the documents, I got a text message from Clara sending a good night message to me; I just smiled briefly, ignoring it.
The picture of Bella played on my mind, I miss her so much, I know we saw a few hours earlier, but I wish to see her the next day and day after day; I want to behold her cute face forever, but I get to have this strange feeling something terrible might be happening to her.
I decided to place a call to her, but as expected, I couldn't reach her or hear her voice before sleeping, meaning I need to bear till the next day to speak with her.

I woke up with some noise coming from downstairs, "What could be happening today?" I wondered.
I struggled in getting up from the bed; I took out the stress to complete my work last night and forwarded it to the secretary at the office to take care of it; I want to have more time with Bella today, get to know her more and more.
I finished having my bath and putting on smart wears this time around, a knock at my door; I got super excited as I rushed to open it, hoping it was Bella, and to my greatest disappointment, it was another maid.
"Good morning Sir Kyle!" She chuckles.
"Hey, who gave you the right to smile at me, hum?" I got irritated by her smile; she wasn't the one I expected to see this morning.
"I am sorry, sir."
"Better, why do you have flowers with you and the noise? What's happening?"
"Oh sir, your girlfriend asked me to give it to you, and you should come down with it; we are busy preparing before your mom wakes up; it's mothers day today," She forced it on me and ran off.
"Hey you, come back here and get this nonsense." I should have gone to work; where is Bella, by the way? I need to go to her myself maybe she is feeling shy to come over my room to see her lover.
Getting downstairs, OMG, it was like a feast is going on at the house, then I remembered she said mother's day, but Clara shouldn't come here and turn this place into something else all in the name of celebrations.
"Oh darling, you are up already; good morning," Clara said, smiling at me.
I responded, smiling back at her so the other maids won't take me as a bad boss; I drag her close to talk with her silently.
"Clara, what's the meaning of this stunt you are trying to do, hum?"
"Let go of my hands, I know you don't love me, but I am going to win your heart soon; give me a chance!"
Why is she so hard to convince that I do not have any feelings or emotions for her.
"Look, Clara, you are equally wasting your time on me, hum? I will never love you, so quit." I said with cold eyes.
"Wow, mom is awake", she said, holding my arms, forcing me to walk with her to my mom and extend greetings.
" Are we having a feast today?" My mom asked.
Without allowing me to speak, she said, "My love and I decided to surprise you; happy mothers day!"
Mom was happy and hugged us both, saying, "Thanks so much; I know you two will make a great couple, and I am happy you are getting along, Kyle. Are these flowers mine?"
I nearly forgot I was still holding the flowers given to me by the maid; I handled it to mom and gave a fake smile, looking at Clara with the kind of act she was putting on in the presence of everyone.
Breakfast got served, we had a full table; I never knew father came in last night; I don't wish to ruin my mom happy mood, so I just tried acting along, but I kept scanning the presence of Bella, still no sign of her.
"Clara, my daughter in law, I appreciate you for making my morning; I forgot today is mothers day, and my beloved husband gave me something special thank you, Kyle, you always make me proud!"
"Thanks, mom", I said and continued eating.
"Kyle, are you done with working on those documents for the company?" Father asked; my dad never joked with anything, mainly when it's all about work; he is very diligent in what he does; that's one thing I like about him.
" I finished everything last night, dad."
"I know making you the CEO of that company wasn't a mistake; you are just like me, Clara. You are lucky to have won the heart of my son; you two will make a wonderful couple!" Dad said, and Clara started blushing.
Why is everyone talking about someone I don't love, "Oh dad, you need more egg source", I said to forget the topic.
"Thanks, sir; I know how busy Kyle is; I will wait till he is ready to make me his wife."
I gave her a deadly glare after she ended her statements, but my mom picked it from there.
"Kyle, even as the CEO of the company, the company is yours, you can decide what should come up next, you can even create time for her. Moreover, you aren't getting any younger; I advise you to marry her soon or engage her first for a start."
"Mom, enough, please, let's eat; I know what to do when the time comes, please."
Brenda came to the dining table to serve some other meal when I asked her, "Brenda, what about her?"
I believe she would understand what I just said, "Sir, I haven't seen her either."
I knew something is wrong even seeing the confused look on my mom face and Clara.
Everyone saw the presence of Bella, her hair packed up, having a wound on her head bandage and some bruises; my heart got broken and angered to find out who hurt my woman.
I left the dinner because of her, and Clara was jealous of the whole thing, "Bella, what happened to you?"
My mom yelled my name angrily for disrespectfully leaving the dining, but they will never understand.

I woke up so early to prepare breakfast for mom to surprise her and wish her happy mothers day; I know she is still sleeping because of the fashion house she took her expert to make up.
I entered the kitchen and told the maids to exit the kitchen just for me; they behaved stubbornly at first, but I threatened them of giving each of them a sack letter, and they ran out immediately in fear.
I put on my apron and a chef cap, bringing each plate; I diced my onions, pepper, and others food items that need chopping.
I don't wish to have tea as breakfast this morning, but cooking spicy rice, and I am sure mom will love it, this is one of her favourites meal.
I finished cooking, and I decided to package some of it to give to Lisa; I hope I am not stupid doing this for a lady I am not dating.
I set the dining table, and mom just came out at the right timing.
"Good morning mom, happy mothers day to you, and thank you for being a lovely and a good mother to me. Even most times, you are a pain in my flesh; you are still the best."
I saw how happy my mom was, she hugged me, and we had breakfast together.
"Yummy, you are the best cook ever, just like your father; how I wish he will be back from his business trip soon but will understand if he doesn't, work take most of our time."
"I only heard the part of being a good cook, will save that."
"Silly child", we laughed.
"So what about we discussed? Should I invite her for dinner so you get to know her?"
I coughed, standing up; I said," Oh shit, I am late for work; enjoy your breakfast, mom" I kissed her cheek and went in to get ready; that was the only means to avoid her discussion.

I drove to Lisa place, seeing her dressed already waiting outside; she looked more beautiful today; she walked towards my car and said, "I work with the time and see who is late."
"Are you mimicking me?"
"Whatever, anyway, beautiful morning to you!" She said, stepping into the car.
"I am late because I had to celebrate with my mom; you know today is mothers day, right?" She nodded.
Arriving at the office, I handed her over the food I prepared, "I know you might be wondering why I didn't get us breakfast; I prepared this, will check on you at the office. I have an important meeting with the board members now."
"Oh, you mean you cooked? I hope the food doesn't taste terrible like the way you behave!"
"I hate you right now."
I entered my office to get prepared for the meeting and to see the partner dad talked about on the phone.
At the meeting room, everyone available gave me some respects as the CEO, and I took my seat, then a classic, beautiful lady walked in.
The meeting went as planned, and I can't believe I will be partnering with a female CEO soon.
"Hi Theo, I am Jordan, I will get going now, and I still await the dinner you promised about."
I got confused with her speech, or is she mistaken me to be someone else?
"What dinner are you talking about?"
"Your mom told me you have an interest in me; she even said you promised to have dinner with me once you are chanced; once we get married, we will sign the official contract of partnership."
She might be the lady my mom was talking about; what kind of unpredictable mother do I have anyway?
"Oh, my mom got it all wrong; how can I have interest in someone I don't even know except today being our first meet, don't take my mother words to heart, okay?"
She smiled and said, "Your mom already told me your reaction; I like you already, so no need to hide your feelings."
I hate when this is going right now, luckily Lisa just came, and I grabbed her close to me, forcing myself to kiss her, and when I stopped still holding her, I said, "Jordan, you see, I am not joking, I have a girlfriend, and she is right here with me, so please excuse us."
I noticed how sad she became; the next on my list is facing the wrath of Lisa; I just kissed her approval.
Entering my office, I received a slap on my face from her, "Do you think I am a joke to you, telling her I am l your girlfriend and kissing me against my will!"
"I am sorry, it was needed; it won't repeat itself, but why are you blushing?"
She hits me again, "Your food doesn't taste awful like you itself"
" Thanks for the compliment, and you are damn lucky; not all girls get opportune to eat food prepared by Theo!"
"Whatever, still you are lucky Lisa decides to eat your meal."

I couldn't stop thinking about the unexpected kiss I had with Lisa. Am I developing genuine feelings for her?
Bella
I woke up with somebody ache and headache; I saw myself in my storage room; how did I end up here after recalling I got hit seriously by my angry mother.
Touching my head, I discovered it was a bandage; I am lucky this time they treated me.
I doubt if I will ever celebrate mothers day with my mom, who is usually upset at me.
Coming out of my room, I saw my phone smashed; I managed to do everything at home despite my condition.
While bathing, I felt little pain, "I guess everyone has gone out, leaving me behind."
I am so late today; I hope Kyle mom won't be around to scold me for coming late.

Opening the door, all eyes on me, Kyle rushed to me asking what happened to me; I got scared seeing how angry his mom was yelling his name.
"Good morning, sir, nothing happened to me, sir."
"I don't believe you", he said, looking at my face correctly; maybe he has lost his mind touching my face in his parent's presence.
" I need to do some cleaning, sir, bye ma", I said to the lady he called Clara on our first date.

I still felt much pains in my head like I might collapse soon; the kitchen door was opened as Miss Clara came in.
"Good day, ma." I greeted.
"Does it hurt?" She pointed at my Injury; I thought she is nice as I told her it's still hurting me so well.
"Good, I am glad it hurts, and I will make you feel more pains, you trying to make my Kyle feel for you" she gave me a slap at the place I have the injury.
" This is my warming; don't seduce my Kyle," she left.
I fell on the floor in the kitchen in severe pains, blood starting to drop from the injury that got hit by her, and tears rolled down my cheek.
"What have I done to deserve such treatment in life?"
