Between Two Alphas

Chapter 11

Ch. 11 / 20 Jan 14, 2026

Aria’s POV

This couldn’t be happening.

I watched in horror as Kian and Lucian clashed, their fists colliding with brutal force. Their growls echoed through the night, raw and primal. Their wolves were clawing for control. This wasn’t just a fight. It was a battle for dominance.

And it was because of me.

I took a step back, my heart pounding in my chest. Is this even real? Two Alpha sons fighting over me?

Kian had rejected and humiliated me. Yet here he was, throwing punches at his own brother because Lucian had kissed me.

Because Lucian wanted me.

I could still hear Lucian’s voice, his words wrapping around my mind like a spell.

"Be mine… Or let’s make a deal. Be my fake mate."

Was this the deal he was talking about?

If Kian didn’t care about me, why was he fighting like a rabid wolf? His anger was scorching, his fury wild.

And Lucian… He was laughing. Taunting. Pushing Kian over the edge.

My throat tightened.

"STOP IT!" I screamed, but neither of them listened.

Fists landed. Blood splattered. Their wolves were so close to taking over, I could feel the air around us crackle with their rage.

Kian’s wolf was furious.

Lucian was enjoying this.

I couldn’t let it continue.

Without thinking, I stepped between them.

"Enough!"

The moment they saw me, they froze. Both of them were breathing heavily, their bodies tense, but they held back. Their wolves were dangerous, but they wouldn’t risk hurting me.

Lucian smirked. “Well, that worked.”

I ignored him and turned to Kian, my gaze falling to his split lip. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

My chest tightened. Why do I care?

I hesitated, then reached out to touch his face but Kian slapped my hand away.

I flinched. Lucian’s laughter boomed through the night.

“See?” he drawled, his voice dripping with amusement. “He doesn’t want you, Aria. You’re nothing to him.” He leaned in, his voice dropping to a whisper. “Be mine instead.”

My stomach twisted. I looked at Kian, but his face was unreadable. His jaw was clenched so tight it could shatter. But his eyes, there was something there.

Lucian reached for me and Kian snapped again. Fury exploded in his gaze as he lunged forward. His arm swung hit me instead.

A sharp, blinding pain crashed through me. For a moment, I couldn’t process what had happened. Then my body hit the ground. The world blurred. My ears rang. Everything felt distant.

The last thing I saw was Kian’s horrified expression.
