“You asked him?” I walked through the balcony while holding her hand.
“No. Why should I? It’s his private life and I didn’t want to be involved so I just marked it as unread and acted like nothing happened.” She stopped walking and looked at the sea with a smile. She’s sad, isn’t she?
“Juli I’m going back home after this. I just don’t want to stay here and get involved with his life, specially I don’t want to get hurt and I'm not that strong because I think I’m falling in love with him. He’s not someone that I could match or fall in love” She spoke with a hurt voice and her eyes turned red and I knew she was forcing her tears.
“Mily you are going home? It’s not a good idea” I said because of what she told me that day about her step father.
“No, I'll stay in an apartment. I won’t go home. That’s crazy” She smiled at me and said.
“So when are you going?” I didn’t want her to leave but I don’t know what to do or how to explain to her.
“Tomorrow. As soon as I leave here I’m going before Chris comes and finds me” I nodded at her.
“What about money? Do you have enough to spend?” she let out a deep sigh and smiled.
“I have some money with me and it may not be enough but I’m leaving Julianna” I watched her and remembered our childhood. She lived in the opposite house of ours and she always came to play with me and we went to school together.
“Let’s meet before you leave. Call me when you’re done I’ll come and meet you” She watched me for a while and nodded.
“Julianna let’s have dinner” I looked back and saw Ryan and Chris were there. I nodded at Ryan and held Amelia’s hand. I looked at Chris and saw he was looking at Amelia with a worried and sad look. What is that?
“What’s wrong?” He came and caressed Amelia’s face as she squeezed my hand. I knew she was warning me to not leave her alone with him.
“Nothing.. Just hungry” She looked up at him and smiled brightly and spoke. Chris sighed and nodded with a relaxed face.
“Alright let’s go” . With that we entered into the dinning hall and had our dinner. After that Ryan and Chris wanted to go to the casino on the ship. So we had to go with them. I sat beside Ryan and watched them play then I looked at Amelia who was sitting beside me while looking at Chris with a serious expression. Chris was playing the game laughing and smiling the same as Ryan.
“Chris? Hey” Suddenly a woman came and pinched Chris’s cheek. Then she placed her hands on his shoulders and slowly traveled her hands through his body as she bent down and whispered something against his ear.
What the hell? My blood suddenly started to boil from anger as I saw her dress. All the men and women in the table could clearly see her breasts. I looked at Amelila who was looking down with an extreme hurt look. Doesn’t he care about her after he slept with her? I watched Chris who was smirking and playing the game without even caring about her hands which were touching his upper body. Bastard.
“Amelia let’s go” I stood up and said because I wanted that bastard to know that the woman he just slept with was still in front of him. Chris’s eyes fell on Amelia without any emotion and he just watched her as she stood up and came with me.
“Amelia…” I spoke as I came out of the casino. She looked at me with a smile. She’s still really good and hiding her pain and sadness.
“Your decision is right. You should stay away from a womanizer like him” She suddenly laughed and nodded at me.
“Of course I should” I also laughed because of how she said that. Suddenly I bumped into someone and I wanted to apologize. It was totally my fault but before I could look at the man I just bumped into, someone grabbed me from my waist and hugged me so tightly. He made me bury my face against his chest Ryan? What’s wrong with him?
“Oh Mr. Holland. Sorry I think my wife didn’t see you. My apologise” I heard Ryan’s voice and I wanted to look at the man he was talking to and apologise to him but Ryan was holding me so tightly and I couldn’t even move.
“I heard that Mrs. Winston is a great beauty. What a wasted flower. Tsk.” My heart began to beat so fast as I heard his voice. So familiar… Suddenly I wanted to see him and I tried to move but Ryan didn’t let me.
“Why don’t you show her beautiful face to me? Ryan? I would really love to see if she’s a great beauty than my sister” Sister? Urghh my head hurts. I clutched Ryan’s shirt tightly and closed my eyes as I heard voices in my head.
“Honey, baby is calling you” Again I heard a sweet voice of a woman and with that I heard the footsteps of the man who just spoke to Ryan. No.. why is he leaving? My tears came out with unknown emotions and the voices in my head suddenly disappeared. What was that? What happened?
As soon as Ryan loosened his grip I pushed him away and looked around to see the man who spoke but he was gone. Tears came out of my eyes and I looked at Ryan.
“Who is he?” I asked Ryan as he looked at me with a frightened look. Then he came to me and caressed my face with a gentle smile and that made my heart relaxed.
“Sleepy?” He asked me with a lovely tone and wiped my tears. I nodded at him and smiled as he wrapped his arm around my waist. Then I looked at Amelia.
“Amelia… you want to…” Before I could finish she put her finger against her lips and warned me to not to talk. I nodded at her and shut up.
“Goodnight Juli” She smiled and said as Chris came to us. Then she just turned and left while Chris was looking at her. She didn’t even look at him. That bastard deserves it. Then Chris also turned and followed her.
Ryan took me into our room and I quickly changed into one of his shirts and jumped onto the bed as I closed my eyes to sleep. Then Ryan also climbed onto the bed and hugged me.
“Goodnight princess” She chuckled against my ear and I nodded at him.
“Goodnight hubby” I spoke with a low voice because I was really tired and sleepy but I was just worried about Amelia.
I woke up next morning and found Ryan was not beside me. Then I heard water splashing sound and I knew he was showering. Then suddenly Ryan’s phone rang and I quickly answered the call.
“Daddy, come home with mommy.” I heard my little boy’s upset voice through the phone and I smiled.
“Daddy is showering, baby. We will come now” I spoke as I heard him giggle. Then Ryan came out of the washroom and looked at me while wiping his wet hair. Woah he’s just so handsome and sexy.
“Okay mommy. Bring chocolate muffins. I love you mommy.” I sighed as I heard him. Again? Chocolate muffins?
“Mommy loves you too baby” With that I hung up the call and looked at Ryan.
“We should go now Ryan. Noel is upset'' I let out a deep sigh and spoke as Ryan watched me with a cute face. Urghh he’s annoying.
“Let’s go after breakfast” I nodded at him and got off the bed. Then I went into the washroom and showered myself. I came out and quickly changed into the dress I was wearing last night and saw Ryan was wearing the same thing. Then we came out of the room and went to the dining hall and at the same time Chris and Amelia also came.
After having breakfast Chris took Amelia with him and before she left she looked at me and smiled. So she’s leaving today. I sighed and went home with Ryan and before going home I bought chocolate muffins for Noel.
